You’ve qualified, congratulations! It’s now time to take the next exciting step in your career. But as your responsibilities increase, it’s important to equip yourself with the appropriate professional liability insurance for your professional protection.
This educational and practical webinar for newly qualified pharmacists is designed to ensure you understand the importance of appropriate indemnity arrangements across different examples and can make informed decisions about your specific needs.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

Explain the role and purpose of professional liability insurance for pharmacist prescribers

Understand the key components of an insurance product and how different elements of cover provide protection

Identify factors to consider when assessing the value and suitability of an insurance policy

Recognise the importance of regulatory, legal and professional support provisions

Assess your own insurance needs based on your role, scope of practice and employment arrangements

Understand what your RCPharm membership provides you

Make a more informed decision about appropriate professional protection as they begin prescribing practice
