Course Overview

Our Tabletting Technology Course is an introduction to tabletting and associated processes. This world-leading course offers a unique opportunity for you to develop knowledge, practical skills and discuss real day-to-day challenges with industry experts.

Join us on this well-established and intensive 3-day course for an in-depth look at the formulation, production, drug-release characteristics of pharmaceutical tablets and CMC aspects.

100% of previous attendees would recommend the Course to a colleague.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Evaluate how AI can improve tablet development decisions and regulatory workflows
  • Apply essential formulation principles to develop robust tablet products and enhance CMC decision making
  • Apply good manufacturing practice requirements throughout tablet production
  • Assess material properties and predict their effect on tablet performance
  • Plan process scale-up while maintaining product quality and consistency
  • Select and optimise mixing and granulation processes for the
    required product attributes
  • Determine when and how to use roller compaction effectively
  • Design a process validation approach that demonstrates consistent performance
  • Select and use tablet machines and instrumentation to achieve reliable production
  • Interpret tablet testing results to confirm product quality and performance
  • Develop and troubleshoot film-coating processes to meet product requirements
  • Understand the underlying principles and generate the appropriate data in formulation design and tabletting manufacturing
